Schedule told for 4-H/FFA shows
Judging of 4-H static (non-livestock) exhibits started the Greene County Fair Tuesday morning. The exhibits are meant to demonstrate knowledge and skills gained by 4-H members in the project areas they selected last fall. Possibilities go far beyond the sewing, cooking, and livestock projects of a generation ago to include rocketry, computer assisted drafting and video design.
During judging Tuesday, 4-H members meet face-to-face with judges, discussing what they learned by completing their exhibits and ways to continue that learning. For 4-H members, judging is practice at a young age of how to handle interview situations.
